We're rich in tools, yet increasingly poor in genuine connection and impactful results. Every day we consume large volumes of content - in whatever shape and format - but it gets harder and harder to distinguish which comes from which brands—or which people.

Same tone. Same structure. Same ideas...Same "insights"!

We're experiencing the great authenticity collapse.

In our rush to create and scale content with AI, we've accidentally erased what made us human in the first place. Both brands and individuals are disappearing into a sea of algorithmic sameness.

The cost of this convergence is profound:

For brands: When you sound like everyone else, you become invisible. Your customers can't form emotional connections with generic voices. Trust erodes when authenticity disappears.

For individuals: Your professional reputation becomes indistinguishable from anyone else using the same prompts. Your unique perspective- your career currency-gets buried under AI-generated noise.

Why authenticity matters more than ever:

In a world where anyone can produce "good enough" content instantly, genuine human connection becomes the ultimate differentiator. People don't just buy products or hire professionals—they connect with souls, stories, and perspectives that resonate with their own experience.

Is it really that bad? What can we do to protect and and cultivate our authentic voice?

Here's my take: Embrace the 70/30 rule, but pour your soul into that 30%.

🤖 Use AI for the 70%: Structure, research, efficiency, first drafts. Let machines handle the mechanical.

🧠 Pour your mind and soul into the 30%: Your contrarian takes, personal failures, unexpected connections, raw observations. The stuff only you can create because only you have lived your experience.

This isn't about catching eyeballs with cheap tricks—it's about using content as your creative outlet and mirror of your ingenious mind.

The long-term approach that actually works:

🧬 Develop Your Unique AI Fingerprint: Your organization has proprietary data, customer insights, and human capabilities that no one else possesses. Feed this into your AI systems. Your content should reflect your actual expertise, not generic industry knowledge.

🎨 Content as Creative Expression: Stop asking "What will get engagement?" Start asking "What perspective can only I share?" Your content should reflect your creative genius, not chase algorithmic trends.

📊 Lead with Your Data Story: Every organization sits on unique data patterns, customer behaviors, and market observations. Use these insights as the foundation for your 30%—perspectives that literally cannot be replicated because they're born from your specific experience.

👥 Amplify Your Human Advantage: Your team's collective expertise, cultural background, and problem-solving approaches are irreplaceable. Let these human capabilities shine through in how you analyze, interpret, and present ideas.

📖 Build Your Narrative Legacy Every piece of content is a chapter in your long-term story. What narrative are you building over years, not weeks?

🔍 Obsess Over the 30% Spend 80% of your creative energy on the 30% that's uniquely human AND uniquely yours as an organization. Make those moments so compelling they're impossible to ignore or replicate.

🎯 Play the Infinite Game Forget quick hacks and viral moments. Build authentic authority that compounds over decades, not days.

The opportunity hiding in plain sight:

While everyone chases short-term wins with generic AI content, you can build something infinitely more valuable—a voice so authentic that people seek it out specifically.

"To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment."

Ralph Waldo Emerson

In a world full of AI-crafted content clones, your unique human voice is your edge. Trust is built when you share bold perspectives, real stories, and insights only you can offer. Let authenticity be your signature.

In a world of content clones, your humanity isn't just creative—it's your differentiation strategy.

The individuals and brands that remember this won't just avoid the noise. They'll become the signal everyone else tries to replicate.

What's the most authentic piece of content you've created recently? How are you protecting your unique voice in the AI age?
